Islam Does Not Prohibit Fashion

Islam does not prohibit fashion at all it only concern with the seductive element in fashion. The way women are exposed in various photo shoots and cat walks are not allowed under the Islamic Jurisprudence. Islam is a modern religion and it covers all the current trends  providing protection to women  against unwanted fashion behaviors, attitudes and trends.

Muslim Fashion !!

The size of the Muslim Fashion Industry is more than $96 Billion and is growing day by day. What is the fear haunting every woman in covering their body, is it right or wrong, civilized or uncivilized ? Why male models are not required to reveal their body ?  Fashion does not mean to reveal the body but the objective is to display the clothes, jewelry, ornaments and fashion wears in a more elegant and graceful manner in order to market the products but not to market the body of the models. Catwalks, walking on the ramps and photo shoots are the part and parcel of the a fashion industry, in fact these are the tools to promote the latest upcoming fashion trends and styles but this can be done without revealing a woman's flesh or body. Trendy and stylish clothes can be made and prepared with out being seductive. These trends vary from society to society. There are certain restriction and barriers which need to be followed. The Muslim Fashion Industry cannot be like the Western Fashion Industry and they cannot follow the  same methods of promotion in the same manner and neither it is mandatory. The Muslim women have their own rich culture, style and trends. They must look different in appearance, style and trends they must be trend setters and not trend followers and that what fashion means to appear unique and different from the rest.
Modesty is the ornament of woman and if it is gone all is gone and that is why it is said that fashion is hide and seek played between modesty and seduction !!

How to Dress Up ?

Fashion does not mean dealing with dresses, make up kits, bridals, hair styles, catwalks, moving on the ramps and displaying exotic faces and glamorous clothing styles to a sitting audience, but it covers broader aspects then that. Fashion means any thing rife among the folk in a specific time period at a specific place making one community different then the others. The living styles of Christianity is different then Islamic way of life similarly Jews culture and heritage are different from the Chinese styles and culture. It covers eating habits, way of living, social behavior, social intercourse, attitudes, common practices, culture and heritage. All these elements normally change the life style effecting every individual and making him/her a unique member of the community. One objective of the fashion is to appear unique among their fellow members and colleagues which can only be achieved by adopting different life styles and way of dressing up.Dressing up is very important and it varies from occasion to occasion and season to season, some time day dresses are different from night dresses, there is formal dresses and informal dresses, then party dresses all are covered under the ambit of Fashion Obsession !!
